100 Squares| Visual Methods and Processes
For this project, Students created 75–100 solutions for one particular word or topic of their choice. They curated their best 25 iterations and presented them through an experimental book that supported their concept.
This project encouraged playing, risk-taking, and experimentation. Students learned about endurance, time management, organization, and resourcefulness. they are also were attentive to design principles and how they affect an image’s meaning: alignment, symmetry, asymmetry, repetition, anomaly, proximity, continuation, correspondence, comparison, framing, scale, layers.
